📖 Description

This work represents the first nucleus of the artist’s polymaterial and spiritual journey.

It originates from the image of a rock split by a central crack: a primordial fracture releasing energy and symbolizing the Big Bang, the moment when matter takes shape and the universe begins to expand.

🕰️ History of the artwork

Created in 1995, it was one of the artist’s earliest material experiments.

Over the following years it was exhibited, moved, and used for technical tests.

When the archive was compiled in 2001, the painting was already missing.

The only surviving trace is an original photograph, which later became the foundation of the digital artwork Rock of Origin, the sole heir of the lost physical piece.

Meaning

The crack dividing the rock represents origin: a point of rupture that generates expansion, transformation, and birth.

The work is the Big Bang of the artist’s visual language, the detonator from which the entire artistic path unfolds.

💠 Digital form

The original image has been transformed into the NFT “Rock of Origin,” the only surviving heir of the physical artwork and a definitive testimony to its historical and symbolic value.
