Description

This 1995 work explores the human journey toward Knowledge, understood as an inner nourishment and the essential foundation of Enlightenment.  

The artist constructs a cosmic map of Wisdom, where ancient disciplines, primordial symbols, and geometric archetypes interact in a harmonious and deliberate structure.

 

The composition suggests that only by “feeding on Wisdom” can humanity ascend toward Light, understood as higher awareness.

 

Symbolic Elements

 

🔹 Geometry (upper section)

In the upper area of the painting appear three archetypal forms:

 

- the cube  

- the pyramid  

- the sphere

These solids represent the foundations of mathematical and spiritual knowledge — the structural pillars of the universe.

 

🔹 Egyptian Knowledge

The work includes references to ancient Egyptian wisdom: symbols, signs, and allusions to sacred mathematics and astronomical understanding.  

Their intentionally enigmatic presence evokes the esoteric traditions and mystery schools of antiquity.

🔹 The Arched Woman — The Celestial Vault

A female figure, arched across the composition, embodies the Celestial Vault, recalling the Egyptian goddess Nut and the concept of the cosmic womb.  

She represents the bridge between the material world and the spiritual dimension, the place where light is born.

 

🔹 Aramaic symbols, numbers, and Assyrian cuneiform signs

The artwork integrates ancient forms of writing and numeration, evoking:

 

- the origins of language  

- the birth of civilization  

- the earliest structures of human thought

🔹 The artist’s world and the orbiting signature

In the upper section appears a small planet symbolizing the “world of the artist,” around which his signature orbits.
